🚀 Aerotune Simulation of Today’s TT Stage at the Tour de France Femmes 🇫🇷🇳🇱

Today marks an exciting moment in the world of cycling as the women gear up for a thrilling time trial stage at the Tour de France Femmes in Rotterdam. This evening, the competitors will be pushing their limits on a very short course, and anticipation is in the air.

To prepare for the race, we conducted an aerotune simulation of the stage, and the results are quite interesting. We expect the winning time to be under 8 minutes, with riders achieving an impressive average speed of around 47 to 48 kilometers per hour. It’s incredible to think about the sheer power and strategy that will be on display.

In our analysis, we closely examined several key factors that can influence performance, including aeropoints (CdA), power output, carbohydrate storage, and pacing strategy. These insights are rooted in specific metrics: we based our calculations on a system weight of 72 kg, a VO2max of 65, and a VLamax of 0.4.
